Time-lapse imaging of myelin dynamics by Higher Harmonic Generation Microscopy

At  the 2025 FOM (Focus on Microscopy) meeting in Taipei we present new findings on High Harmonic Generation Microscopy (HHGM).

HHGM is revolutionizing personalized medicine by providing unparalleled precision in patient-specific biology.Utilizing ultrafast laser pulses under 40 fs, HHGM leverages nonlinear optical processes like two- and three-photon excitation (TPE & 3PE) and second- and third-harmonic generation (SHG & THG).

This technique minimizes photodamage and photobleaching, enabling long-term imaging of living cells.
